The Shannon HRT-D is a highly efficient and robust semi-automatic acrylic sheet bender with bottom heating, consisting of easily adjustable profiles with height-adjustable heating cables. The HRT-D is designed to handle large sheets, but also large batches of smaller sheets thanks to its automatic feeding and transport system. The removable top frame has roller guides that hold the sheets in place and prevent bending (banana effect). The temperature of the heating cables is very precisely regulated by the control unit. The durable, heat-resistant top consists of multiple adjustable panels, an adjustable conveyor belt and has a double parallel stop with indication in inches and millimeters. The machine is modular and already prepared internally, so it can be easily expanded later with multiple heating profiles and/or control units.
The bender can be upgraded with additional accessories available on our website:
- Teflon profiles - bending thin materials (0.3 to 1.5 mm)
- protractor, guide - cooling at a specific angle
